2015 Cast Iron Club

Same awesome challenge, but now with a chance to win some great season ending prizes!

Inside-Out Sports is proud to offer our “Cast Iron Club” for the ninth year. This club is for those of you who are hard headed and committed enough to swim, bike and run through the equivalent of 30 Ironmans in one year. Whether you are an experienced Ironman or a novice triathlete training for your first race, read on and to see how easy and rewarding this program can be.

The program is simple

  • Register for the program
  • Swim, Bike, and Run
  • Record your daily or monthly mileage
  • Achieve your goal
  • Get a unique, cool tee shirt and certificate
  • Brag to all your friends

The Goal is straight forward:

  • 72 miles of swimming
  • 3360 miles of biking
  • 786 miles of running

If you think the goal mileage is out of reach, think again. If you swim 0.75 miles (or 1320 yards) two times per week, if you ride 35 miles two times per week, and run 5.5 miles 3 times per week you will reach your goal of 30 Ironman distances in 48 weeks (11 months). You can even take 4 weeks off to get ready for the following year!

For 2015 we have again partnered with TitanXT, an online logging service that offers you countless viewing options and powerful tools to help you stay motivated and track your task. TitanXT also makes submitting your mileage very easy.

To register for the 2015 program at a cost of $19.99 for the entire year visit the TitanXT Cast Iron signup page.

Once you have registered, you will be able to log in to record your miles. We will use the honor system for reporting so if you cheat, we leave your fate up to karma.

You can view your progress anytime on the Cast Iron Club Chart page.

If you achieve the goal, you will receive a “Certificate of Achievement” and a “tech running shirt” commemorating your incredible achievement. Plus new for 2015, all finishers will be entered into the season ending drawing for a chance to win a wetsuit, helmet or pair of running shoes! There will be 3 guaranteed drawing winners from the list of finishers.

We hope you will see the Cast Iron Club as a fun way to keep you motivated and consistent throughout the year. Click to view lists, of finishers from previous years, of those finishers that are 100% “made of Cast Iron”
